Sector Policing

The Big Rapids Department of Public Safety Police Division previously engaged in a Sector Policing Initiative. The program was a city-wide initiative to get to know our community better. We went door to door and spoke with our  residents concerning their neighborhood. We believe that these contacts are important to develop and maintain our relationship with our community.  Currently, we are not actively engaged in this program but the previous program flier is available to download here.
