The City of Big Rapids has various boards, commissions, and committees to help the city government function effectively, with many positions available for individuals who are willing to serve.

Overview of the Application Process
Once an application is received, the department head of the board(s) designated in the application will review said application. After reviews, interviews will be conducted if applicable. The Mayor will review and issue an appointment to the board(s).
