The City of Big Rapids has received a $50,000 grant from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) for home and neighborhood enhancement projects. The neighborhood project is replacement of the playground structure at Linden Street Park. Homeowners who live in the City on the east side of the Muskegon River, and meet income eligibility requirements, are welcome to apply for grant dollars to fund exterior home renovation projects of up to $7,499.
