WWTP West Screw Pump Replacement Bid

Prospective bidders will not be able to attend the bid opening as City Hall is currently closed to visitors due to COVID-19 guidelines. A virtual bid opening is scheduled for Monday, February 8 @ 2:00 p.m. Sealed Bids will be received via email to Fleis & VandenBrink, shall@fveng.com, as a scanned PDF attachment, until 2:00 p.m. local time, Monday, February 8, 2021. Original bidding documents shall be shipped next day air to the issuing office: Fleis & VandenBrink, Inc., 2960 Lucerne Drive SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Bidders will not be held responsible for overnight delivery service delays as long as the documents were shipped. Mailed Bids shall be post marked by Monday, February 8th by 2:00 PM. As-read bid results will be posted at https://www.fveng.com/bid-room Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

Items of work include replacement of the West Screw Pump, bypass pumping, and all related work.

Bids will be accepted only from Plan Holders of Record. In order to be a Plan Holder of Record Bidding Documents must be obtained from the Issuing Office.

Bidding Documents are available to be emailed in portable document format (PDF) at no charge.  Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained at the office of Fleis & VandenBrink Engineering, Inc., 2960 Lucerne Drive SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546: Telephone (616) 977-1000. A non-refundable payment of Sixty Dollars ($60.00) will be required for each set of hard copy Bidding Documents. An additional, non-refundable payment of Ten Dollars ($20.00) will be required for mailing the Bidding Documents. 

The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
